Callipers take shopfloor treatment

Called S_Cal PRO, they boast a Smart Inductive Sensor (S.I.S), giving the gauges an impressive accuracy specification. Designed to operate within harsh measuring environments, the S_Cal PRO range of callipers is manufactured from materials that are able to withstand extended shopfloor use, such as within close proximity to machine tools. The range boasts an IP67 rating, according to IEC 60529, rendering them resistant to the ingress of water and coolant, while the gauges' measuring system remains non-sensitive to the presence of fluids. With a large 7 mm digi, LCD readout displaying all measurements, the simple 2-button S_Cal PRO operating system gives the user easy access to a range of features, such as a metric/inch conversion and a zero setting. Extended battery life is 12,000 working hours, and for convenient data collection, a new Sylvac contactless data output (S_Connect Proximity) enables the convenient transmission of all gauge S_Cal PRO calliper readings.
