Bowers' Sylvac digital measurement caliper is shopfloor proof
Bowers Metrology UK has launched a shopfloor-proof digital caliper, manufactured by Swiss Metrology manufacturer Sylvac.
The 150 mm capacity S_Cal ONE employs Sylvac's patented, inductive measuring system, giving the caliper an impressive accuracy specification, while rendering it resistant to the ingress of water and coolant.
Designed to operate within harsh measuring environments, the S_Cal ONE caliper is manufactured from materials are able to withstand extended shopfloor use, such as within close proximity to machine tools.
Ideal for internal, external and depth measurements, the Sylvac Caliper boasts a large, 9.6 mm digit, hi-resolution LCD readout, while a simple two-button operating system gives the user easy access to a range of features, such as a metric/inch conversion and a zero setting.
