AICON introduces Version 6 of MoveInspect software

Version 6 of AICON's 3D Systems' MoveInspect software, introduced at the recent Control show in Stuttgart, offers a number of additional functions.
These include the Mini-App. This gives the operator constant feedback on the status of the MoveInspect system. The Mini-App is constantly in the foreground reporting the status of cameras, MI.Probe and measurement process while working in the inspection software (for example, PolyWorks)
Furthermore, the operator can easily calibrate the cameras by one click on the calibration menu.
Version 6 also includes an online interface on the basis of TCP/IP. This interface provides 3D/6D co-ordinates for further processing and visualisation – either via individual customer's software or by the LabView (National Instruments) visualisation program provided by AICON. Additionally, the software now allows the measurement of surface points by tracking through the different measuring sequences.
Users of the AICON system for dummy positioning, MoveInspect DPS, can initiate parallel activation of two active probes. Moreover, the reliability of active probe measurement has been increased.
Holders of appropriate licences and a valid software maintenance contract will automatically receive all additional features with the next software update.
