Thanks to calibration using both fixed reference field and scale bar, large-scale measuring volumes are now calibrated with the highest precision possible, says Aicon. The new ‘reference field and object’ method is especially suitable for multiple camera arrays, such as Aicon’s 3D Arena, and allows for a considerable increase of accuracy.
With regard to dynamic referencing, users can now create multiple references and easily switch between them. In addition, the automatic exchange and actualisation of existing reference point sets within the measuring process is now possible.
