Aicon products team up as portable tactile pipe measurement solution
Aicon 3D Systems is proposing an easy solution for tactile measurement of pipes from 150 mm diameter using its software platform BendingStudio, together with its shopfloor-reliable and portable optical 3D measuring system MoveInspect HR and handheld MI.Probe .
BendingStudio connects all data and processes involved in the production of bent parts. Thus, manufacturers are able to monitor, quantify, visualise and document all changes in the various process steps. It is compatible with all existing MoveInspect HR configurations and the measuring system can be connected to the customer's database. Measuring tasks include the acquisition of data such as main dimensions of the tube, ovality of the curve, torsion angles as well as bending radius and bending angles.
Besides tube measurement, other measuring tasks are possible with BendingStudio and MoveInspect HR, for example, measurement of profiles and free-form bent tubes.
