Samsys UK, with its headquarters in Nottinghamshire, was established in July 2009 and is responsible for the sale and support (including product installation, training, maintenance, service and spares) of the full range of Samsys products in the UK and Ireland. The decision by Samsys (formerly Sameca Systems) to set up its subsidiary, as opposed to maintaining its previous distributor relationships with Leader CNC Technologies, says the company, reflects the growing demand amongst UK and Irish precision manufacturers for sophisticated automated solutions, and Samsys' desire to capitalise on these opportunities through a direct and dedicated sales and support operation.
