Models include the CA7 EVO Boost Broach Grinding Centre that is equipped with a 1,700 mm long table, electro spindle (10-25 kW) and EasyGrind software on 22-in control screen. Maximum tool capacity: 250 mm.
It features a six-position grinding wheel magazine as standard (18 position unit as option), with which it is able to load/unload a new wheel in less than five seconds. The SA50 workpiece holder incorporates a direct drive motor with encoders that operates up to 650 rpm.
Optional accessories include a Renishaw wheel sensor, manual tailstock, CNC-controlled steady rest and mechanised or magnetic cradle, dressing rad, magnetic table, tool probe.
Smaller machines, CA3+ and CA5, are also available and come with EasyGrind software.
In an alternative CA7U setup, the Evo Boost spindle is positioned vertically to provide a view of the broach grinding process during the cycle.
