Wedge clamping element holds securely

Schunk's KSE 50 wedge clamping element offers secure hold with high gripping forces.

Even workpieces with angled clamping faces can be securely held, while the active pull-down effect ensures that the workpiece is also pulled against the support and this dramatically reduces vibration during the machining process. The wedge clamping elements are suitable for multiple clamping, and two workpieces can be comfortably secured using a single wedge clamping element. The maximum clamping force is 30 kN with an angle compensation of +/- 3° with a height of 22 mm. The wedge clamping element can be used in combination with the Schunk Unilock clamping pallet. Handling is user-friendly, with a hexagon socket wrench that moves the chuck jaws outwards via a hardened clamping wedge.
