A number of insert types are available to suit virtually all workpiece materials.

By fitting a wiper insert instead of a conventional insert to the Xtra.tec F4042/F4042R shoulder-milling cutter from Walter GB, users can now undertake finish milling operations down to surface finishes of 0.2 micron, as well as additional operations such as ramping, pocketing, facing and interpolation – all with the same tool.
