Vargus Tooling UK has announced that its TT and TM GEN software for advanced thread turning and thread milling tool selection and CNC program generation are now both available as an online tool as well as a downloadable desktop version.
Vargus GEN Online is an interactive software program suitable for the most popular web browsing environments. This version ensures that the most updated TT and TM Gen programs are always available. Vargus GEN Desktop is a standalone software application for MS-Windows based operating systems. Automatic updates are available whenever the user is online.
Both TT and TM GEN have also been upgraded with a graphic user interface providing improved functionality and enhanced usability. The aesthetic graphic user interface features: a clean design for easier navigation and data entry; an improved tab navigation allows users to easily navigate between tabs to check previously defined data while the active tab displays the current stage in the process; faster data input allowing changes can be made without the data unchanged in previous steps needing to be re-entered; and a TM GEN summary tab which displays program data in a clear graphical format with pictures illustrating the definition of each parameter.
