Upgraded OTG2 grinder from Dean Smith & Grace is more productive
The Oil Tool Grinder from Dean Smith & Grace has been upgraded and renamed at the OTG2. This modular, travelling wheel-head grinder is aimed at the grinding and regrinding of all types of stabiliser and drill pipe, drill heads, hydro-clean bars, fishing tools, mills, reamers and ancillary equipment found commonly in the oil and gas sector.
Most notable among the enhancements is a new CNC system, which is said to make the machine even more productive and user friendly. All machines in the OTG2 range remain available in both electronic and full CNC versions, and are built to meet customer-specific requirements. OTG2 machines are designed, manufactured and tested in the UK.
