Steep taper monoblock adaptors join Walter toolholder range
Steep taper monoblock adaptors, added to the range of toolholders available from Walter GB, provide spindle to cutting edge precision particularly in heavy-duty machining and roughing applications. They are characterised by extremely precise tapers for maximum concentricity and clamping precision, offering a minimum balance quality of G6.3 at 16,000 rpm.
Complementing Walter's existing HSK and the SK modular adaptor solutions, the range now includes sturdy monoblock designs in sizes SK40 and SK50, as well as BT40 and BT50. There are variants of shell end mill arbors (AK155 and A155), collet chuck (AK300) and Weldon chuck (AK170). Coolant is supplied centrally or via the collar, depending on choice.
