Shopfloor white light scanning from Wenzel
Wenzel ScanTec has launched CoRE-DS, the new non-contact white light scanning solution that has been designed for fast, accurate measurement of turbine blades, nozzle guide vanes (NGVs), aerofoils and blisk-type parts.
CoRE-DS allows fast and accurate measurement of the aerofoil and root form of small blades and NGV's, as well as alleviating the problems associated with the use of tactile probing on these components, and measures parts within a range of 300 by 200 by 450 mm (X,Y,Z).
Designed to be used in a shopfloor, CoRE-DS is a 5-axis system with X, Y and Z axes, high precision rotary table and a further rotary axis on the sensor itself.
