Quality ‘hard’ to beat using Bowers Nexus 3200
The Nexus 3200 Brinell hardness tester from the Bowers Group is designed for use within harsh industrial environments. The machine is suitable for use on both flat and cylindrical workpieces, including castings and forgings.
With application test loads ranging from 62.5 kgf (612 N) up to 3,000 kgf (29 kN), this compact bench hardness tester is able to deliver Brinell results along with simultaneous conversions to the Rockwell, Vickers and Leeb hardness scales. It features a load cell, closed loop force application operation and a video measuring system. At the push of a button, a Brinell Indent Optical Scanner (BIOS) generates a high definition image of the indentation on the unit's 7.5" LCD industrial touchscreen.
Nexus 3200 Impressions user operating software facilitates manual and automatic measurement, image editing, file storing, image storing and report printing. Data can be copied or exported to Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
