Bowers Metrology launch EW-3001 Brinell bench hardness tester
The EW-3001 Brinell bench hardness tester uses force feedback and closed-loop load technology to accommodate a wide variety of test loads from 30 kgf – 3000 kgf.
Working in Brinell scale HB 30, 31.25, 62.5, 100, 125, 187.5, 250, 500, 1000, 1500 and 3000 Kgf, Bower's new hardness tester boasts a large multi function LCD display, a Brinell microscope, and a built-in hardness calculator able to supply conversions of hardness values into Rockwell, Vickers, Leebs and tensile strength scales.
Several options are available, including a electronic microscope with a high resolution encoder, allowing the operator to observe indentations and to make easy measurements while maintaining fast and error-free operation. The electronic microscope can record the actual diameter of a Brinell indent or the diagonal measurement of a Vickers indent.
