Kurt KTR35 toolroom vice available from CIS
Kurt's latest toolroom vice, the KTR35, is now available in the UK from Carillon Industrial Services (CIS). Designed for use on small machine tables, the vice mounts on all three sides to facilitate a range of workholding projects.
With an overall length of 257 mm and weighing only 9 kg, the KTR35 has a clamping force up to 20 kN with input torque of 61 Nm. It has a maximum jaw opening of 97 mm on the bed and 103 mm in the step jaw. Fully chip guarded, the vice can be mounted through the body or with optional outrigger toe clamps mounted to the outside of the body. The vice is precision ground for mounting on any of its three sides.
For added versatility, the KTR35 can be used as a sine vice: for holding a workpiece at a 30, 45 or 60° angle for machining or inspection.
