Kerf launches CombiCut plasma/oxy fuel high definition profiler range

Kerf has developed the CombiCut as a high definition oxy-fuel/plasma cutting machine range to meet the needs of a budget-conscious market.

The gantry-type Kerf CombiCut CNC machine, capable of piercing and cutting material from 1 to 150 mm thick, has an independent cutting table. It can be supplied with single or multiple cutting torches with the option of electronic ignition and automatic torch height control. The work support structure is isolated from the precision rail system. Installed at an elevated position, this ensures the rack and pinion and drive systems are fully protected from the cutting process to ensure maintenance is kept to a minimum. The control and drive system employs an industrial grade PC with a touch screen display that provides an automatic diagnostic capability with a machine maintenance module. CombiCut 2000, 2500 and the 3000 model designations relate to the rail span and working envelope of the 2, 2.5 and 3 m machines. Kerf also builds its machines to end-user specification, so these dimensions can be extended, as can the capabilities of the machine.
