ITC unveils 4032 and 4042 Cyber end mills for steel

For the profile machining of steel and other ferrous materials, Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) has launched its 4032 standard length and 4042 long reach Cyber series ball-nosed end mills.

The cutters are manufactured from a wear resistant micro-grain carbide, which is said to deliver exceptional tool life with minimised edge chipping. The 4-fluted, straight shank centre end mills also incorporate a Cupro coating to dissipate any heat generated. To increase the flexibility and application range, ITC has given the 4032 and 4042 Cyber series a long shank length, while a short length of cut on the 4032 line enhances rigidity and minimises vibration when cutting at high speeds and feeds. The 4032 Cyber series of standard length cutters is available in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm diameters, while the 4042 is available in diameters of 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm.
