ITC adds 2171 Cyber series miniature corner rounding cutters to its range
Industrial Tooling Corp (ITC)'s 2171 Cyber Series miniature corner rounding cutters have been developed for the machining of miniature high precision radii on small components.
The ITC Cyber Series 2171 two-flute solid carbide milling cutters, which have a full 90º radius plus runout, are manufactured from an ultra wear resistant micro grain carbide and are available uncoated or with a Cupro coating to maximise performance and tool life on a wide variety of materials.
The 2171 series cutters have a 3 mm shank diameter and an overall length of 38 mm to promote rigidity and surface finish quality. The choice of corner radius includes 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.75, 0.8, 0.9 and 1 mm. The 2171 Series complements the 4011 series that is available in 8 to 20 mm diameters with a choice of radii including 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5 and 6 mm.
