Hexagon offers DEA Pioneer 5.6.4 entry-level 3D CMM in a package deal
Hexagon Metrology UK entry-level 3D co-ordinate measuring machine is now available as part of a special promotion aimed at small and medium sized businesses.
Hexagon says that the DEA Pioneer 5.6.4 is capable of performing a wide range of inspection tasks and incorporates the company's patented Tricision lightweight bridge, which has a wider bearing separation and lower centre of gravity than a conventional bridge. Its one-piece granite worktable not only comprises a precision-machined dovetail for better accuracy and repeatability, but also M10 threaded inserts for part fastening.
The promotion, which runs until the end of December, offers a full CNC system starting from £29,995. As well as the CMM, the deal includes a motorised Tesastar probe, PC-DMIS Pro software, styli kit, PC, monitor and table plus a year's warranty, delivery and installation.
