Wenzel four model X-Cite range provides entry-level manual CMM solution

Wenzel's X-Cite, entry level small footprint manual 3D co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) are suitable for quick and easy quality control and inspection of simple parts as an alternative to gauges or multipoint measurement systems.

High quality dark granite is used for all axes. Wenzel X-Cites come with the Renishaw MCP manual probe system as standard. Optionally, they can be equipped with the manually adjustable MH20 probe head and the TP20 robust touch trigger probe, or the MH20i probe head. Probe modules, already calibrated, can be replaced with recalibration for a high level of repeatability. The four X-Cite models available have measuring ranges from 500 by 600 by 500 mm up to 700 by 1,200 by 500 mm. Fine tuning for each axis and individual axis locks allow accurate positioning and precise measurement. The accuracy of the CMM is specified by the volumetric length measuring uncertainty MPEE from 3.5 + L/250 µ. Metrosoft Quartis measuring software generates and creates measuring results and reports automatically for a range of measuring tasks. Full CAD import capability is also available.
