Hard machining milling cutters from ITC

The Hanita high feed milling cutters are engineered to machine steels up to a hardness of 67 HRc.

The metric range is available in 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm diameter for small components, with 16 and 20 mm cutters available for increased metal removal at high feed rates. The solid carbide cutters have a reach length of 18, 24, 30, 36, 48 and 60 mm for machining pockets and long reach applications, with respective overall lengths of 63, 76, 89, 100, 110 and 125 mm. The cutter range can operate at a surface speed of 160 m/min with a 0.6 mm feed per tooth and a table feed of 1.5 m/min. The radii on the cutters is 0.58, 0.77. 0.96, 1.15, 1.54 and 1.92 mm for the 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 20 mm diameter end mills, respectively. Designed specifically for the mould and die, and medical markets, the high feed range is ideal for rough and semi-finish machining of hardened materials, from 37 to 67 HRc The series is available in two ranges, the 70N7 for cutting materials beyond 50HRc, and the 70N6 for materials from 40 to 52HRc. Additionally a 7FN7 and 7FN6 series are also available, with imperial dimensions.
