Hainbuch's Centrex Duo system positions to 0.003 mm (Video)
The Centrex Duo system from HAINBUCH makes the loading of any flat plate to another simple and very accurate, this mini zero position system can be retro fitted to existing tooling by any toolroom.
When positioning tooling or pallets onto machine tools the usual method is with dowels and bushes, however this is only accurate to 0.020 mm at best. It is also very awkward to position the dowels into the bushes as the plates have to be aligned perfectly and be competely square before the dowel will slide in, very difficult to do with heavy tooling.
In contrast with the Centrex Duo repeatability is better than 0.003 mm with perfect surface contact. This simple patented solution utilises precision ball-bearings in a rubber ring with conical positioning elements.
Any tooling can now be taken off a machine table and put back again exactly where it was while vastly reducing setup times.
