Fagima JazzL 5-axis machining centre now available from Service 2000

The machine is capable of machining a 500 mm cube up to 350 kg in weight. In addition, JazzL is capable of working on one component while another is being loaded by the operator via pendulum machining. The machine also has the unusual ability of performing 4-axis bar work, up to 400 mm diameter by 1.45 m in length, or of using the overall 3-axis machining area of 2,000 by 500 by 500 mm for large components. Up to 120 tools, either ISO 40 or HSK 63, can be deployed to ensure set-up times are minimised. Furthermore, with the JazzR version and the inclusion of a pallet change system of up to 200 pallets, Fagima can now support lights-out production.
