HyperCAD-S is Open Mind's own CAD system that is matched to its CAM system, hyperMill.
Among the new features in hyperCAD-S version 2014 is the 'Deformation' module, which gives users the option to deform all geometries in accordance with requirements.
What is the benefit for CAM programmers? Well, if warping occurs during the manufacture of thin-walled parts, it is extremely useful to be able to compensate for this beforehand by making a specific change to the geometry. The result is a part that meets the intended specification.
