Emuge TOP-Cut end mills last longer
The range of TOP-Cut end mills from Emuge-Franken are said to offer high productivity, versatility and extended tool life. Suitable for both roughing and finishing operations, the end mills have been designed to reduce vibration and the number of tools used.
The facilitating technology is variable helix angles that eliminate harmonic oscillation to minimise vibration and improve surface quality. A tough carbide substrate, combined with optimised micro-geometry and a high-heat resistant TiALN coating, gives a greater degree of process safety and longer tool life, even in diverse materials, says Emuge Franken.
TOP-Cut end mills are available in metric sizes with 2-, 3- and the 'Enorm' 4-flute variant with a full range of lengths and corner radii.
