Capable of producing complex parts such as impellers and bevels up to 50°, the machine’s design separates the motion system from the catcher tank, eliminating vibration and helping to maximise part quality.
Features include an industrial PC controller, ballscrew drives, direct-coupled AC brushless digital servomotors and single or double carriages. Critical bearing components are protected with heavy metal covers.
The US-manufactured Edge X-5 is available in sizes from 1,500 by 1,500 mm, to 7,300 by 3,900 mm. An optional second cutting head can be added.
