Available in the UK from Aquablast, the machine holds ±0.025 mm linear positional accuracy (over 300 mm) per axis and ±0.025 mm repeatability (bi-directional). An optional mirroring package allows waterjet operators to cut large parts twice as fast.
Moving elements are supported on THK linear ways, while ballscrews are coupled directly to servomotors, and critical motion components are protected with metal covers, brushes, labyrinth passages, lip seals and filtered air.
Available in a range of sizes, from 1,500 by 1,500 mm to 7,300 by 3,900 mm, the Mid Rail Gantry comes as standard with one abrasive jet cutting head. Control is via Jet Edge’s Aquavision Di industrial PC.
