The machines feature a 15 kW, 6,000 or 4,500 rpm spindle, while models with driven tools are equipped with 6,000 rpm milling capability. Further features include servo-driven turrets, a collision protection system, Fanuc i CNC, programmable tailstock, a tool monitoring function and an on-board tool setter.
Doosan Lynx 2100 lathes now available from Mills CNC
The Lynx 2100 series from Mills CNC is an upgrade of the Lynx 220 range introduced a few years ago. Depending on the selected machine (there are 10 different model types), the lathes are equipped with either a 6” chuck (51 mm bar capacity) or 8” chuck (65 mm bar capacity), and have a maximum turning diameter of 350 mm and a maximum turning length of 550 mm.
