CS Technics unveils Multi Mini Rhinobar bar feed

The US-built Lexair Multi Mini Rhinobar bar feed is now available in the UK from CS Technics. Lexair says that the bar feed makes multi-diameter bar stock processing faster and easier with a feed-tube cartridge that automatically centres and feeds three sizes of small-diameter bar stock to Swiss-style CNC screw machines and sliding head lathes.

Lexair says that the bar feed makes multi-diameter bar stock processing faster and easier with a feed-tube cartridge that automatically centres and feeds three sizes of small-diameter bar stock to Swiss-style CNC screw machines and sliding head lathes.
The cartridges are available in three size ranges: 6.35/9.525/12.7 mm, 6.35/12.7/19.05 mm and 9.525/12.7/16.129 mm, and each three-tube cartridge is enclosed in a standard aluminium barrel. The Multi Mini helps achieve maximum throughput for high-production runs of automotive components, medical devices, motor shafts and other small diameter parts, says Lexair. Two models are available for processing either 1.8 or 3.6 m long stock.
The bar feeder's design features an upgraded safety interlock system, and includes a front swing-out mechanism for easy reloading and sub 3-minute feed tube changes.
