The updates in v7.4 utilise the latest technologies to enable faster processing speeds, longer tool life and increased part quality, says CGTech. Added features to the user interface simplify the most common actions, while significant developer hours have been invested to increase simulation speed by more thoroughly taking advantage of multiple processors and background processing.
Vericut’s desktop has been enhanced with a new docking method, so it can be configured in the most efficient manner. Moreover, the Tool Manager’s desktop and user interface has been redesigned to enable easier user interaction.
New interfaces are available for integrating Vericut with Creo Parametric 3.0, CAMWorks, and SolidWorks, while connectivity with Kennametal’s NOVO, Iscar’s IQCloud, and other tooling suppliers is now possible.
