Bumotec introduces S100multi for flexible production of small precision components
The Bumotec S100multi machining centre is designed as a fast, flexible solution for the manufacture of small precision components up to 80 by 80 by 80 mm in batches of from one to bulk quantities in brass, aluminium or stainless steel.
The Bumotec S100multi is equipped with linear motors in all axes and up to 60,000 rpm of spindle power delivers 27.24 m/sec² / 3g acceleration and a minimum time between cuts of 0.5 sec.
The small footprint transfer centre has four workstations which are equipped with multiple tool magazines offering up to 144 tools and two milling spindles that work simultaneously. Ergonomic design provides easy operator access to the workpiece with the mechanical system located behind it.
