Bowers to launch Sylvac S_System LIN precision digital scales/sensors
Swiss company Sylvac UK agent Bowers Metrology UK has announced the launch of a range of precision digital scales/sensors. The Sylvac S_System LIN range features a scale pitch of 1.000 mm and a scale maximum error specification of L/150 – L/300 (dependant on model), plus a sensor maximum error specification of 3 – 5 µm (again dependant on model).
The easy to integrate system can be incorporated into new applications or retrofitted to existing ones. Maximum length is 1,140 mm with a relatively small profile and overall dimensions.
Bowers says that the advanced scale/sensors' robust construction and IP 67 rating will help to ensure it will perform accurately in prolonged use so that the system is suitable for a wide range of precision measuring and demanding manufacturing applications.
Sylvac S_System LIN range connectivity can be achieved by either USB or RS232, while the supplied system can be simply programmed by PC with the supplied software.
