Bowers Metrology launches Nexus 410 Micro-Vickers hardness testers

The Nexus 410 advanced range of micro-Vickers hardness testers has been added to Bowers Metrology material testing offering. The bench-mounted testers boast motorised turrets, easy-to-use, integrated hardness calculators and, depending on model purchased, analogue or digital measuring microscopes.

All Bowers' Nexus 410 models feature fully automatic, four-position turrets for micro Vickers/Knoop measurement. The choice of turret configurations consists of three objectives and one indenter, or two objectives and two indenters (Vickers and Knoop). A dual Vickers/Knoop turret option is also available. Each tester's intuitive control panel gives access to features such as start/stop test, light intensity, dwell time, print and clear – while a high resolution display shows the precise length of diagonals, hardness values, converted value, test force and online statistics. Bowers' micro-Vickers hardness testers are able to store up to 20 test results, while CCD-View software enables the storage of infinite amount of test results. If required, hard copy of all gathered data can be downloaded via the testers' built-in high speed thermal printers.
