Sub-contractor takes first Dalian lathe
West Yorkshire-based Hebble Hydraulic Services has become the first engineering specialist in the country to install a Dalian CDS 6256C centre lathe.
The Dalian brand is the result of a joint venture between UK-based 600 Group and the Dalian Machine Tool Group (DMTG), China’s largest machine tool manufacturer.
The installed machine has a 2 m centre distance, maximum swing over bed of 560 mm, bed width of 394 mm, spindle bore of 105 mm and spindle speed range of 26-1600 rpm.
