The MACH show produced a six-figure sale for FARO from 3D Scantech, which purchased three FaroArm Platinums, one Laser Line Probe, one Laser Tracker and two sets of measurement software CAM2 Q.

"MACH is the UK's premier manufacturing technologies event and we have seen a very high level of interest in our products," said David Homewood, area vice president for the UK, France and Benelux. Visitors saw live demonstrations of FARO's Laser Tracker ION, plus the latest version of CAM2 Q software for the FaroArm and Laser Tracker. FARO's displayed product range also included the FaroArm product line consisting of Quantum, Platinum, and Fusion, which are portable measuring systems for 3D measurements, as well as the FARO Gage, which is the smallest and most precise FARO measuring arm. FARO's new partnership with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes was publicised, with a rear Formula One wing used as a demonstration part on the stand. FARO is now an 'Official Supplier' for measuring systems and a member of McLaren's World Class Partner Group. FARO also showed the Laser Scanner Photon which combined with the FARO Scene software, offers users the fastest and longest range phase shift laser scanning solution in the market place, it is claimed,
