FARO, a leading provider of portable measurement and imaging systems, will be presenting its broad range of portable measuring machines, for a wide range of applications and industries, at MACH 2010.

The new CAM2 Q software for the FaroArm and Laser Tracker will be showcased at MACH 2010. "CAM2 Q's unique combination of power and simplicity provides a confidence-inspiring user experience with FARO's portable CMMs. No other software/hardware package in the industry simplifies measurement while providing so much capability. The end result for our customers: better products, more cost-effective processes, and a competitive advantage," says David Homewood, Faro's area vice president for the UK, France and Benelux Mach 2010 visitors will have the chance to see live demonstrations of all FARO products, at stand 5610. "Our aim is to make people realise how quick and easy measurements can be carried out. Many of our customers used stationary measuring equipment before switching to our portable systems. Their lead time is reduced, while quality standards are improved, after using our systems for only a few weeks. This guarantees a very fast ROI," said Mr Homewood. FARO have recently launched the Laser Tracker ION and FARO's product range also includes the FaroArm product line consisting of Quantum, Platinum, and Fusion, which are flexibly deployable, portable measuring systems for 3D measurements. FARO will also be offering the FARO Gage which is the smallest and most precise FARO measuring arm. With a measurement volume of 1.2 m. The product range is topped off by the FARO Laser Scanner Photon 120/20. Combined with the FARO Scene 4.6 software it offers users a fast and long range phase shift laser scanning solution.
