QGS acquires Premier Gauge
Luton-based Quality Gauging Systems, QGS, has purchased Premier Gauge, Wednesbury, West Midlands.
This acquisition makes it one of the largest multi-dimensional gauging system manufacturers in the UK, according to its managing director, Martyn Gill. The turnover of the combined operations will around £2 million.
Premier Gauge’s 8,500 sq ft facility will operate as the 'Gauging Fixture Division' of the group, designing and manufacturing multi-dimensional fixtures.
Bruce Newman, Premier Gauge’s previous owner, is taking on the role of business development manager for the company.
