Engineering & Gauge acquires PL Metrology
Engineering & Gauge, the air gauging company, has acquired PL Metrology, a specialist Ferranti CMM repair and calibration business.
The acquisition took place as part of a natural expansion for the air gauging specialist. Established in 1990, Engineering & Gauge specialises in the sale, repair and calibration of high quality measuring instruments, as well as the design and manufacture of special gauging fixtures.
The expansion means that they are now able to repair, service and calibrate Ferranti CMM machines traceable to UKAS, as well as calibration equipment including Renishaw laser calibrators, ball bar and length bar fixtures for volumetric checks, and electronic testing instruments.
