Mahr has significantly increased the floorspace at its Milton Keynes facility to create a fully equipped temperature-controlled test and demonstration laboratory, with the facility officially opened on the 10 of September, followed by customer open days on 11 and 12 September.
This move follows the company having seen a 30% increase in staffing levels over the past two years.
Says Jonathan Firnberg, managing director: "Mahr has a strong desire to deliver continuous improvement to the service and support that it provides to its customers. This period of sustained growth here in the UK is a perfect example of how we as a company aim to work with customers to develop solutions to their metrology requirements.
"This new temperature-controlled test and demonstration laboratory will allow us to work on projects with customers, and also provide an ideal environment in which to demonstrate our diverse range of metrology systems."
The two open days on the 11 and 12 September will feature seminars and technical advice on Mahr's surface, contour, form, shaft, height, and length measurement systems, along with information on its ranges of precision gauge, and air gauge solutions. The team of technical experts will also be on-hand to answer any specific metrology questions.
Visitors are asked to e-mail neil.thurgood@mahr.com, indicating which day they are attending.
