Participants in the CNC turning, CNC milling and mouldmaking sections of WorldSkills London 2011 will now benefit from Blaser Swisslube metalcutting fluids, thanks to the support of Jemtech (UK).

Jemtech (UK), one of the UK's leading specialists in the field of metalcutting fluids and their application, will be supporting some 30 Mori Seiki CNC lathes and machining centres at WorldSkills London 2011. The Uckfield-based company will be supplying more than 10,000 litres of metalcutting fluids from the Blaser Swisslube range to the event, which is being held at the ExCeL London exhibition centre, 5-8 October. In addition to supplying Blaser products, Jemtech (UK)'s sales and technical support teams will be on-site for the duration of the competition to answer questions arising from the use of Blaser products at the event. "Our involvement at WorldSkills London 2011 is a big investment of time and money, but one that we are happy to make on several levels," said Steve Coull, managing director, Jemtech (UK). "Undoubtedly, it is a fantastic event at which to raise the profile of Jemtech and Blaser on a the world stage, but, at the same time, we see it as an excellent opportunity to invest in future engineers and support the skills and training that we need to ensure that manufacturing remains competitive and productive in years to come. We will use the opportunity to convey the importance that good quality, well maintained, cutting fluids have in increasing productivity and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment." The support of WorldSkills London 2011 by Jemtech (UK) also ties in very well with its existing technical partnership with the leading machine tool supplier to the event, Mori Seiki. The close working relationship of the two companies will, it is said, ensure a trouble-free competition for the competitors from more than 50 countries. "The combination of two world-leading brands in Blaser Swisslube and Mori Seiki is a sign of the commitment being made to WorldSkills London 2011, and the entire team at Jemtech (UK) is looking forward to fulfilling the company's guarantee of providing increased productivity through the correct application of the Blaser products."
