600 Group's Gamet Bearings has recently completed an order from Taiwanese machine tool manufacturer Everox Industrial Co Ltd, where four completely new design, super precision tapered roller bearings were supplied for the company's 305 mm (12") and 360 mm (14") large spindle bore oil country lathes.

Everox manufactures high speed conventional and CNC lathes, bed-type CNC milling machines, CNC machining centres and other related machine tools from its Taichung factory, exporting to over 40 countries worldwide, including North and South America, Western Europe, South East Asia and Australia. Gamet's large bore bearings, manufactured at its Colchester, UK factory, offer world leading rotational accuracy, high load capacity and stiffness, and are also fully interchangeable with existing components. The company claims its bearings' superior accuracy enhances machine tool spindle performance, resulting in improved component accuracy, surface finish and repeatability, whilst the very high load capacities offer rigidity and durability, which is a paramount requirement in heavy duty oil country lathes. Everox's managing director, Mr Stephen Yeh, was reportedly highly impressed with Gamet's product quality and speed of service, saying: "Since our beginnings in early 2000, pursuing perfection and insisting on highest quality are always Everox's ultimate goals. Each Everox machine has to pass strict inspection criteria before delivery; therefore, all Everox machines are masterpieces. The quality and accuracy of Gamet's bearing supply more than matches these requirements and gives our customers extra performance benefits."
