Fanuc UK will be moving its UK headquarters to a new-build facility at Ansty Park, Coventry in early 2017.

The automation, robotics and machine tool company’s new building will comprise a 56,000 ft2 design, manufacturing and training facility, 43,000 ft2 of offices and an 8,000 ft2 showroom area.

Tom Bouchier, managing director, Fanuc UK, commented: “We are excited to announce our move to Ansty Park. Our new headquarters will enable us to grow and develop our team of industry experts, and offer the highest quality services to our customers. As our business continues to evolve, we look forward to working alongside a variety of technological centres of excellence.”

Ansty Park is also home to the Manufacturing Technology Centre, the Lloyds Bank Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre, and the London Taxi Company’s future research, development and assembly facility.

Last year, Fanuc reported it was planning to move to Whitley Business Park, Coventry, next to Jaguar Land Rover’s world HQ and research and design centre, by July 2016. The plans came after the company centralised its robomachine, CNC and robot divisions into a single location.
