CNC Training Academy appoints new sales exec

The CNC Training Academy, part of Mills CNC, has promoted training administrator Hannah Walby to head up its business development operations. The promotion will see Ms Walby co-ordinate and implement the Academy’s new business strategies.

Walby has been with the company since 2013. She replaces Andrew Myhill, appointed in September 2014, who has now left the company.

The business development position will help the academy achieve its ambitious growth plans.

A significant percentage of Ms Walby's time will be spent visiting manufacturing companies throughout the UK and Ireland to discuss their training needs and requirements, particularly among non-Doosan machine tool users.

The academy is further developing its CNC training capabilities by increasing the number of training rooms available at the Mills CNC Technology Campus and appointing new CNC trainers to meet the anticipated increase in demand.
