Schneider Messtechnik launches V-CAD Rapid 2D optical measuring device

An intuitive user interface with M3 measuring software, enables measurements to be performed by the V-CAD Rapid virtually with just a touch of the finger. Once the workpiece is placed freely in the coverage field, the measurement process is initiated with a just a tap on the multi-touch screen of the panel PC. Within a few seconds, the device provides comprehensive measurement results and generates a report. The Schneider Messtechnik V-CAD Rapid, which comes out of the box ready to use, also features automatic recognition of ruled (standard) geometries without pre-selection a four-step motorised zoom lens for reliable measurement even of minute workpiece details. Standard equipment includes a 5 MP CCD B/W camera and a four-step motorised zoom lens providing four different fields of view; the multi-touch panel PC equipped with WIN7, plus a LAN and WLAN network port and tele-centric LED transmitted (diascopic) light illumination. The unit is based on a granite/aluminium sandwich design with an LED ring light for incident (episcopic) illumination. It is delivered with a factory calibration certificate.
