Modular 2D video measurement system from Switzerland

The Marcel Aubert Type MA 331-705-Z1 modular videoystem with Metric software for 2D inspection and measurement tasks includes a zoom-optic with detent providing field of view from 13.6 to 2.1 mm (magnification from 22 x to 144 x), and a compact CCD colour camera. The circular LED illuminator, which has 54 white LEDs arranged in six groups, provides incident (front surface) light illumination with an intensity regulator. Transmitted (back light) illumination is also available. The sturdy base and co-ordinate table have a measuring range of 50 by 50 mm, with two Sylvac digital micrometers for the movement and measurement on the X and Y axes. ‘Metric’ software (via PC with Framegrabber) provides the display on a. monitor for iInspection and measurement of the required components in both ‘live’ and ‘still’ mode. The images can be saved in standard file formats and processed in other Windows programs. The measurements of the component can be taken, noted and saved on the actual displayed image (point to point, point to line, circle to circle, angle, radius and so on).
