Project X optical measuring system goes CNC

Aberlink Ltd has launched a CNC version of its groundbreaking Project X Optical Measuring device. With a unique measuring system based on a revolutionary, Aberlink-patented, Colour-Matrix scale, Project X is able to measure X,Y and rotational positions with high levels of accuracy. It has a capacity of capacity of 400 x 300 mm with 125 mm of motorised Z-axis focus. The easy-to-use CNC Project X does not require the use of a joystick as programs are generated simply by operating the machine in a normal manual mode using the handwheels. Project X CNC allows complete automatic, rapid replays of programmes for individual parts or routines.
