Automated setting of hydraulic clamps

The Hilma Automation AS 125 H Sensor from Roemheld makes clamping errors and operational errors a thing of the past, driving down scrap rates. It automates setting up processes, removing the need to manually adjust hydraulic clamping systems.

As well as a position sensor, workpiece dimensions can be entered into a control system, recorded and then implemented. The Hilma Automation AS 125 H Sensor also enables one clamping system to cover large and small clamping widths as workpiece dimensions can be varied without the need to change the jaws or the fixture - reducing downtime and maintenance costs. The slide position and clamping power can be easily checked, and the design of the component offers good protection from swarf, reducing maintenance requirements. The Hilma Automation AS 125 H Sensor has a hydraulic double-action function with a maximum stroke of 140 mm. It operates on a pulling tensioning principle with a long slide guide for maximum reliability.
