The Accretech RONDCOM NEX

Renowned globally for its famous RONDCOM profile measuring instruments, ACCRETECH has announced the launch of the advanced RONDCOM NEX series.

The latest evolution of the popular instruments now features the provision of an axis speed potentiometer, also an Auto Force Detector making all measuring routines considerably more efficient.

The new RONDCOM NEX series provides the best concentricity and straightness precision figures in its class - (0.02+3.2H/10000) µm and 0.15 µm (Z300) respectively. These advantages are made possible by the extremely high rotational accuracy of the new series’ air-bearing based rotary tables. The RONDCOM NEX R instruments also enable highly accurate surface roughness measurements, as per DIN EN ISO, in linear R and X directions, also in rotational directions on workpiece circumferences.

The flexible RONDCOM NEX series benefit from an ingenious modular design that enables the high-precision measurement of form, diameter and surface simultaneously. The modular nature of the new form measuring instruments means that they are available in a wide range of variants, ensuring that customers can now specify a system that will be configured exactly to their own individual requirements.

Also, ACCRETECH’s creative ‘building-block’ approach means that RONDCOM NEX series instruments remain future proof. For example, in addition to undertaking today’s precision measuring tasks, if users’ requirements change, new modules can be easily retrofitted to suit all developing needs.

Similarly, new ACCRETECH instruments can be purchased as manual systems then later converted to CNC versions if a higher degree of automation is required. CNC add-ons include positioning tables with several asymmetrical measuring positions to accommodate complex workpieces. Also, pallet clamping capability for components being inspected in large batch sizes.

“The new universal form testers of the RONDCOM NEX series are the optimal solution for today's quality assurance and production requirements, as here it is necessary to operate with ever greater flexibility. They can be used to measure many different applications and workpieces, and a wide range of required parameters in one clamping operation – all with high precision,” enthused Marcus Czabon, chief operating officer at ACCRETECH.

“In contrast to stand-alone instruments, customers no longer have to compromise on accuracy when measuring form, diameter and surface parameters. “We have fundamentally redesigned the entire series of form measuring instruments to ensure that our customers receive even greater support in terms of efficiency, time savings and automation.”
