WNT Polygon shank adapters
We now have another brand of shank adapters that we can buy, this time from WNT.
The WNT range is compatible with existing polygon-style systems.
They can be used for aspects of machining from tapping, drilling, milling and turning, with a variety of tool connections to select from.
Driven toolholders also an option.
WNT says the taper/face connection on the Polygon shank adapters guarantee arepeatability of ±2 micron.
The firm also says the adapters are free of axial and radial play, are self-centring and have very high rigidity and bending strength.
The adapters are available in 32, 40, 50, 63 or 80 mm sizes.
